1.1 )Ginsenosides:Ginsenosides are mainly distributed in ginseng, American ginseng and Panax notoginseng. At present, 51 ginsenosides have been isolated from ginseng, 39 ginsenosides from American ginseng and 19 ginsenosides from Panax notoginseng.

1.2 ) The function of ginsenosides:
